The Office of Distance Education facilitates distributed-delivery technologies such as Web-based (online), hybrid and distance instruction to provide services to students and faculty. Distance learning courses have the same standards and expectations as the College’s on-campus courses and typically carry four credits. The distance learning courses uphold the institution’s rigorous academic standards by building a close working relationship between faculty and students through continued student communication and support throughout the semester. Options include online, hybrid and distance education courses. Definitions of these different types of courses appear on the College’s Distance Education Web site.
Stockton College's Division of Continuing Studies offers a number of blended certificate programs designed with the busy professional in mind. Blended certificate programs meet in an intensive, executive-style classroom format approximately once a month and in a virtual classroom throughout the course of the program.
In addition to blended certificate programs, Stockton’s Continuing Education Online courses extend the reach of the classroom providing a variety of continuing education experiences that meet learning and lifestyle needs. Our program features high-quality instructor-led and self-directed online courses and certificates in more than 20 subject areas. Courses are offered at basic, intermediate and advanced levels, providing a deeper and more educationally rewarding learning experience, especially for students who wish to advance careers or initiate new ones.
