Welcome to the Stockton Center for Community Schools!
Location: Offices F-211 A&B
Executive Director: Dr. Merydawilda Colón
What is our purpose?: Our purpose at the Stockton Center for Community Schools is to work with urban schools to create positive change for schools and their neighborhoods and communities.
How will we do this?: We will achieve positive change through partnering with community groups already at work in supporting schools as well as new partners who would like to join us.
The Netter Model
Here at Stockton we will use the University-Assisted Community School Model of the University of Pennsylvania's Netter Center for Community Partnerships to help support schools in South Jersey. We are pleased the Atlantic City School District has agreed to partners with Stockton in implenting and assessing the Netter Model as applied to a shore community.
Join us as we work with community partners and our schools to improve students’ lives and transform our community, one school at a time.
